Heat Shield

Built-In Stress Protection for Every Plant

Heat Shield uses symbiotic fungi that live inside plants to increase resilience to drought, excessive rain, heat, cold, and salt stress, season after season. Stronger plants from the inside mean better yields, even in extreme conditions.

When Conditions Turn Extreme

Hot, dry spells. Cold snaps and periods of high rain. Salty soils. These abiotic stressors take a toll on plant health and yield. Most inputs can’t protect plants from the environmental extremes that are becoming increasingly common every season.

Heat and Drought Protection for Resilient Crops

Heat Shield is a microbial treatment composed of multiple strains of endophytic fungi—the beneficial microbes that live inside the plant and help it adapt to harsh conditions. These fungi form a symbiotic relationship with the plant, improving tolerance to abiotic stress like heat, cold, and salinity.

When Heat Shield is used in combination with Nutri-Cycle, the fungal endophytes work synergistically with the nutrient solubilizing microbes and give you a combined yield effect.

How Heat Shield Works

Uses endophytic fungi to boost stress tolerance from within

Helps plants maintain growth and yield under heat, cold, drought, and salt stress

Enhances plant metabolism and water use efficiency during extreme conditions

Proven in field trials to reduce canopy temperatures by up to 10 degrees F

Improves emergence rates in low temperature environments

Achieved a 93% overall success rate in third-party trials in high stress seasons

Maintains a 67% win rate even under low-stress conditions

Heat Shield helps your crops stay productive when weather and soil conditions try to shut them down.

Enhances crop resilience nutrient use efficiency

Heat Shield works within the plant itself, building resilience so crops thrive even in harsh conditions.

FAQs

How is Heat Shield applied?

Heat Shield is available in 4 oz bottles that treat 40 acres for convenient field applications. Bulk sizes are available for professional seed treatment applicators.

It’s designed for use on field crops that face tough environmental conditions, especially where temperature swings or salinity are a concern. All plants tested have shown efficacy with the endophyte technology.

Growers often notice improved seed emergence and plant resilience over the course of the growing season, with consistent yield gains over time.

Yes. Heat Shield is compatible with most fertility programs and microbial treatments. It’s designed to work alongside other inputs, not replace them.

It is most likely harmful to use rural water sources that have chlorine in them with any biological treatment, including Heat Shield.  Well water is the preferred carrier.  Rural water can be used with a suitable de-chlorinating agent in accordance with product specifications.

Is your crop ready for a tough season?

Heat Shield works inside the plant to improve resilience and deliver consistent results, no matter what the season throws at you.
